Starlite Fruits Slot Review, Demo Play, Payout, Free Spins & Bonuses

Starlite Fruits is a medium volatile Starburst-mechanic jackpot slot from Neon Valley, and it plays out 5x3 reels with 10 win-both-ways paylines. Wilds expand on the 3 middle reels to award up to 3 consecutive respins, and diamond icons are collected to eventually trigger a jackpot wheel with prizes up to 2,500x your stake. The single spin max win is 500x, and you can check our full review below the free demo game.

Starlite Fruits Review

Starburst copycats are released on a regular basis, and Starlite Fruits is also almost identical to Neon Valley’s own Aurora Wilds from 2019. The original was never a huge success, but at least the first game came with original visuals. We’re unsure if the bland fruit machine presentation is any kind of improvement in that regard.

What makes these installments different from Starburst is the bolted on random jackpot system. The top-tier 2,500x jackpot has been bumped up a notch compared to the first release, which offers a 2,000x top prize. The 96 % RTP is a tad lower though, so things balance out in the long run. Starburst fans looking for a higher jackpot might enjoy this, but we don’t see Starlite Fruits being hugely successful.

Starlite Fruits Slot Features

The symbols pay between 2.5 and 25 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and Star Wilds step in for all pay symbols to help complete wins. Star Wilds appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, and they always expand to cover the full reel whenever they land.

Landing at least one expanding Star Wild triggers a respin, and you get a new respin if a new wild appears.

Starlite Fruits Slot Gameplay

You can get up to 3 consecutive respins this way, which means the 3 middle reels are wild as reels 1 and 5 spin again for the final respin. Line wins are awarded after the wilds expand on each respin, and this is known as the Starburst mechanic.

You will see that some symbols land with a diamond icon overlay, and the diamond icons are collected in the jackpot wheel pot seen below the jackpot prizes. Each time a diamond icon is collected, there is a chance you’ll trigger the jackpot wheel. When triggered, you’re guaranteed to win 1 of the 4 jackpots:

  • The Mega Jackpot pays 2,500x your stake.
  • The Major Jackpot pays 500x your stake.
  • The Minor Jackpot pays 50x your stake.
  • The Mini Jackpot pays 15x your stake.

The 200 Spins Starlite Fruits Slot Experience

We had a decent time testing Starlite Fruits, although this is hardly the first Starburst clone we’ve tried. We’ve whipped together a brief and edited highlights video for your viewing pleasure as usual, and you can see for yourself how we fared by hitting the play button below.

Review Summary

Starlite Fruits is basically a rehash or reskin of Aurora Wilds, which again is based upon the iconic Starburst.

You get pretty generic fruit machine visuals in this release though, and we enjoyed the northern lights in the original more than this glossy presentation. The core feature is well-known to anyone with the slightest experience in the online slot world, and nothing has been tweaked to make it different.

What you get in this release, as well as in Aurora Wilds, is the jackpot system. The jackpots are a tad higher in this release, topping out at 2,500x your stake instead of 2,000x in the first game. The top-tier 96 % RTP is a tad lower though, and otherwise it’s basically the same game. As far as Starburst copycats goes, Starlite Fruits is not the best we’ve seen, but it’s not the worst either. Aurora Wilds is the least popular release from Neon Valley so far, and we don’t see this follow-up making a huge splash either.

Pros

  • Expanding wild respins feature
  • Expanding wilds on 3 middle reels
  • Random jackpots up to 2,500x

Cons

  • Beware of customizable RTP ranges
  • Rehash of Aurora Wilds (based on Starburst)

If you appreciate Starlite Fruits Slot you should also try:

Aurora Wilds - comes with a more unique and enjoyable audiovisual presentation, and the top-tier RTP of 96.2 % is a tad higher as well. The mega jackpot is “only” 2,000x in this original game though, but the core expanding wild respins feature is the same.

Starburst XXXtreme - is NetEnt’s highly popular follow-up to their iconic original, and the math model goes overboard in the opposite direction of the lightweight first game. The big difference is the random multiplier you get in the expanding wild respins feature, and it can lead to payouts up to 200,000x your stake.

Slingo Starburst - is a highly popular bingo/slot hybrid version of NetEnt’s classic slot, and it’s all about landing slingos to climb the win spin prize ladder.

Starlite Fruits Slot Review 2007

This awards symbol-specific and guaranteed wins on the Starburst slot, and the top-tier prize awards up to 3 expanding wild respins for payouts up to 1,500x your stake.
