Agent Destiny Review
Comic book heroes and secret agents are a thing of the past for most people, but Play’n Go certainly brings the concept alive with their brand new Agent Destiny slot. The retro 60s style is well done here, with animated visuals and thrilling sound effects. The female hero from the game’s title is as busty and sensual as a femme fatale, and her male assistant looks like he’s been handling bad guys his entire life. The main attraction is the free spins feature, but the game also comes with some interesting stuff in the base game.
First things first, this is a 5 reel video slot with 3 rows and 20 ways to win, and you can place bets between 10p and £100 per spin across all platforms and devices. The villains in this story are a wild-eyed professor and a rather sly looking female bomb expert/terrorist. All 4 of the characters can land as massive mega symbols on the reels, and even the high-paying safe wild symbol can land as a massive symbol to generate wins up to 1,200x your stake per spin.
It’s time to dust off the old martini shaker, and make yourself something as cool and clear as the lead agent, for here you’re in for quite a thrill ride hanging onto the fast-paced action Agent Destiny has to offer. Wins up to 5,000x your stake is possible in the bonus round, and here you will benefit from the Linked Reels feature on every spin, a feature that you also will see sporadically in the base game. While the theme might not be for everyone, this game is well worth trying if you enjoy volatile action with potentially massive rewards, but low-risk casual players might wanna find their thrills elsewhere.

What symbols are there?
All the 4 premium symbols are made up of comic book characters, and Agent Destiny with her cocktail and tight purple dress is naturally the highest paying regular symbol here. There are 2 archvillains on the reels too, namely the mad professor looking guy and a lady in green who seems to be exploding a bomb. To help her out, Agent Destiny has a clean-cut looking male agent in a blue suit. You need 3 to 5 matching symbols in a combination to win, and here is the paytable for Agent Destiny slot:
- Wild safe - Pays 60x for 5 on a payline
- Agent Destiny - Pays 15x for 5 on a payline
- Mad Professor - Pays 12x for 5 on a payline
- Blue suit agent - Pays 7.5x for 5 on a payline
- Madam in green - Pays 6x for 5 on a payline
- Royal symbols - Pays between 3x and 1.5x for 5 on a payline
What are the bonus features?
The bonus features you will see the most in this game are the Linked Reels feature and the Mega Symbols. The first one will trigger at random times in the base game, and you will see reels 3, 4 and 5 (or just reels 4 and 5) landing identical symbols covering every reel position.
In the base game, you will see this “mega symbol” move to the left, and a respin is given for the remaining 2 or 3 reels. This can sometimes lead to bigger wins in the base game, but not always. The Safe Wild symbol is not only the most valuable symbol in the game, but it can also step in for any regular symbol to help you form winning combos. Not only that, it can also land as a Mega symbol on the reels, and the same goes for all the character symbols. The Mega symbols will come in different sizes, and increase your chances of landing winning combos.
Free spins in Agent Destiny
The special agent watch is another wild symbol, which also serves as the game’s scatter symbol. This one can step in for all other symbols, including the regular safe wild symbol. You need to land this wild/scatter on reels 1, 3 and 5 on the same spin to trigger the Free Spins bonus round here, and this gives you 9 spins to start with.
You will benefit from the Linked Reels feature on every single spin during the bonus round, and you’ll see the mega symbol shift from rightmost to leftmost reels, like it does in the base game. This greatly increases your chances of landing bigger wins, and you will also get 1 extra free spin added to your total whenever you land a wild/scatter symbol during the bonus round.
How to play
It’s not in any way rocket science to play Agent Destiny, but we’ll run through everything you need to know to get started with this game immediately. The game is available to be played on both mobile, tablet and desktop/laptop, and the HTML5 technology makes it run smoothly on all handheld devices like Android, iPhone and iPad.
The first thing you need to do is decide on your bet level.
Before you do that, however, you need to consider the game's volatility and how big your bankroll is. Since this is a highly volatile game, it’s wise to set a bet level that can last you at least 500 spins, as this will hopefully be enough to trigger the bonus round at least once.Either way, you can play with a bet level between 10p and £100 per spin, and the paytable will dynamically change the symbol values to show you how much you stand to win per total stake. The little lightning symbol down in the left-hand side corner can be turned on if you want faster spins, and we always go with this option ourselves.
BigwinRight next to the regular spin button is the autoplay button. Click it, and you can choose from between 10 and 100 autospins. You can also choose to stop the autoplay feature when you win, or when you trigger the bonus round. In addition, you can stop the autoplay when your bankroll has gone below or above a chosen level, or if you win a single win of a chosen level.
That’s pretty much it when it comes to how to play this game, and you’ll find all relevant info about Agent Destiny slot by clicking the “i” icon in the bottom left corner on the game screen.Where to play Agent Destiny?

The 200 Spins Agent Destiny Trial
This is where the rubber meets the road in our review process, and the 200 spin test run is always the most exciting part.
Before we get started, we need to remind our readers that this is a very subjective test, and in no way does it reflect any mathematical or statistical significance. Still, it gives us a good first impression of a new game, and with that said, let’s jump right into it.We started by setting the bet level to £1 per spin, and then we checked out the paytable to get a sense of how much each symbol is worth per total stake. We noted quickly that the premium symbols are not that different in terms of value, and that the safe wild symbol is the high payer here. Then we set the autospin feature to 100 spins (maximum allowed), and leaned back with relaxed excitement to see where “destiny” would take us.
Knowing the high volatility of this game, the first 100 spins gave us pretty much what we expected. You will most likely get 2-3 dead spins followed by a smaller win between 0.3x and 3x, at least this was our experience. Only once during the first 100 spins did we land a “bigger” win of 11.9x our stake, and this included triggering the Linked Reels Respin feature at least 3 times.
winThe next and final 100 spins yielded results that were a little better, as we had one base game win of 13.5x. We triggered the Linked Reels feature perhaps 4 times, and towards the end this feature yielded an okay return of 38.8x our stake. Unfortunately, we did not trigger the free spins bonus round at all, even when spinning at least 50 manual extra spins on top of the 200.
I guess this should tell you something in terms of what you can expect from this game, but keep in mind that your beginner's luck can be a lot different from ours. Volatile games can be unforgiving for a long time, until you suddenly hit pay dirt in a major way. Anyway, we wish you the best of luck with your first 200 spins on this game, and beyond!
Review Summary
Play’n Go has long since established their success formula, kind of like Hollywood, and Agent Destiny slot does not deviate all that much from the well-trotted road, so to speak. Still, the retro comic book visuals and the somewhat unusual bonus features makes this a decent title by any measure. The volatility is very high, and the 5,000x max win potential might be kind of a clichè with this developer, but it’s still just about good enough to make it worthwhile.
This is not a game for casual players who enjoy low risk and plenty of action, and it can take a good while to trigger the bonus round (we did not trigger it on 250 spins). This can test your patience for sure, and there is no way to buy the feature either, as some games offer these days. If you enjoy secret agents and comic books, you’ll probably be an instant fan of Agent Destiny.
Pros
- Linked Reels Respin feature
- Mega symbols of various sizes
- Free spins with linked reels on each spin
- High volatility and 5,000x max win potential
Cons
- Not for low-risk casual players

Luckily, there are plenty of good slots out there featuring special agents on a secret mission, and here we will give you a quick taste of some slots that are similar to Agent Destiny. Not all of them will have the comic style visuals, but we’ve tried to pick out solid secret agent games, and slots with relatable themes.
Agent Jane Blonde Returns - is also about a female secret agent, and this is the follow-up game which came many years after the Microgaming classic about Agent Jane Blond. Stormcraft Studios developed this sequel, and the main attraction is the Respins feature with sticky wilds. In contrast to the game at hand, this one is a low volatility title, and it’s perfect for casual players who enjoy low-risk action.
Mission Cash - is another retro secret agent slot from Play’n Go, and this one also comes with high volatility and the “standard” 5,000x max win potential. There is a crosshair moving around the reels, which creates a dramatic effect, and if any agent comes into the crosshairs, he or she will turn into expanded sticky wilds and you get a respin.
Hitman - is based on the Eidos franchise video game series which also has been made into movies. It comes jam packed with exciting bonus features, including a bonus game where you decide which bad guy to kill and a free spins feature with 2x multiplier on all wins. The volatility is medium to high, and solid wins up to 270,000 coins is possible here.
24 - is based on the cult TV-series with Kiefer Sutherland in the lead role. The highlight of the game is the free spins bonus round, where machine gun fire can turn whole reels wild and handgun fire can turn single symbols wild. Plenty of suspense and thrills in this game, which is packed to the brim with fun features and action.

Agent Destiny Slot FAQs
What is the RTP of Agent Destiny?
The default RTP of this game can vary across casinos and markets, as Play’n Go offers flexible payout percentages on their games. Most casinos will stick to the standard RTP of 96.26 %, but lower payout percentages are possible, so we encourage you to check with the casino you play at. Find out everything you need to know about RTP here.
What is the Agent Destiny slot max payout?
This game comes with a max win potential of 5,000x your stake, which is fairly common for games from Play’n Go. The max win was calculated by simulating 1 billion spins, which would take you almost 32 years to do if you spin the reels once every second. Please note that the max win per spin is 1,200x (if you fill the reels with safe wild symbols), so the 5,000x potential is based on a total bonus round win.
How volatile is this game?
Play’n Go is known for putting out highly volatile games, and Agent Destiny is indeed an example of that. The gameplay can be brutal on your bankroll, so you need to adjust your bet level accordingly.
How does the Linked Reels Respin feature work?
2 to 3 of the rightmost reels can sometimes land displaying the same character symbol or the safe wild, and the symbol will then look like a mega symbol. If this happens, the “mega symbol” is moved from rightmost to leftmost on the screen, and the 2 or 3 remaining reels respin.
Is there a free spins bonus round in Agent Destiny?
As a matter of fact, there is, and the bonus round is also the main feature of the game. You will now benefit from the Linked Reels feature on every spin, and this is where you can expect bigger wins to happen.
Can I play the demo version of Agent Destiny slot for free?
