Meet Raider Jane, a world-famous and adventurous explorer going to great lengths to find her missing parents. They were searching for a mysterious Egyptian crypt when they went missing, and you’ll assist Miss Jane in her search for the Crypt of Fortune. That’s the backstory for you, and the main character herself seems to be inspired by Tarzan’s Jane and Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider franchise (hence the strange name).

We welcome all new adventurous spirits with open arms, and we give them a fair chance to prove themselves. There is nothing revolutionary going on in Raider Jane's Crypt of Fortune though, but you get count-down wilds that increase the win multiplier. This is all enhanced in the bonus round, as the multiplier never resets and wilds are sticky until used up. The 96.75 % RTP is strong, but we wish PG Soft would stop with the exaggerated potentials.

The Raider Jane Wild can land on reels 2 to 5 only, and it steps in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combinations. All winning symbols are destroyed via the Cascading Reels feature, and replaced by new and/or existing symbols that drop down from above.

This process repeats as long as you keep winning.

All wilds land with the number 3 attached, and this tells you how many times the wild can be part of a winning combo before it’s destroyed with the rest of the winning symbols. Each wild that lands also increases the win multiplier by +1, but the multiplier resets between cascading sequences in the base game.

You need to land at least 3 skull scatters anywhere in view to trigger the Bonus Round, and this awards 10 free spins. You get +2 extra spins per extra scatter you land on top of the minimum of 3, and unused wilds remain in place until they are part of 3 winning combos. The multiplier increases by +1 per wild, and it does not reset between spins. The bonus round can be retriggered the same way it was triggered in the first place.

Review Summary

Yet another Lara Croft inspired hero enters the world of online slots, and there is no doubt that Raider Jane's Crypt of Fortune looks good on handheld platforms. This is PG Soft’s forte after all, but there is very little new to be excited about here. We’ve seen the count-down wilds in previous installments, and here they increase the multiplier in all stages of the game.

It would perhaps have been more exciting if the multiplier increased per win the wilds are involved in, instead of simply increasing by +1 per wild. It is what it is however, and per usual with this developer, you have to take the 50,000x potential with a huge grain of salt. The 96.75 % RTP is solid however, but we do hope PG Soft will allow themselves to be more adventurous in the feature department next time.
